Gas to the cooking equipment can only flow when the extraction is operating thanks to a gas interlock that connects the gas supply to the ventilation. Gas interlock systems can be installed independently or integrated into a special control panel that manages the entire system.

We have been building control solutions for years, and demand has grown with regulation changes and the move to inverter fan control. All of our panels are designed and made in-house.

Do i need an air supply system as well as extraction?

Requirements for noise and odour vary between councils, We design the ventilation system to meet the criteria your local authority has set and, where required, submit plans and specification data for approval before work starts.

Can you ventilate spaces other than kitchens?

Activated carbon is highly porous, so it has a huge surface area. As air passes through, cooking odours are adsorbed onto the surface. Carbon does not remove grease or dust, which would clog it, so it is used after grease filtration and replaced on a regular schedule.

Do commercial ventilation systems need a separate fresh air supply?

Yes, most commercial kitchens need a fresh air supply to replace extracted air, maintain airflow and keep the working environment comfortable.
